LOCATION CHANGE- Pack Meeting Dec 21

Our December 21 Pack Meeting has moved from the church due to a schedule conflict. It will take place in the cafeteria at MADISON ELEMENTARY from 6:00-8:00.

We will be having our Pizza Party that the boys earned from popcorn sales, plus giving out prizes from popcorn sales, plus the moment everybody has waited for.....PIE IN THE FACE of the leaders.

See everybody at Madison Elementary on Monday Dec 21 at 6:00pm.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL
-Two years ago, we managed just over $2000 in Sales
-Last year, we achieved our goal and did $7000 in Sales

This year, we not only achieved our Pack Sales Goal...We completely CRUSHED it.
We did just over $12,000 in Sales

Popcorn is BACK - IMPORTANT DATES

POPCORN IS BACK and we have many contests and prizes to be had this year.

Scouts can win many different prizes including Viking tickets, Timberwolves tickets, camping supplies, gift certificates, marshmallow shooters, and LOTS more to choose from.

We also have some additional special prizes including a Pack Pizza Party and winning a chance to SMASH A PIE IN THE FACE of a pack leader of the scouts choosing.

Please mark two key dates on your calendars......

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 28 PACK MEETING -
(WE NEED ALL SCOUTS AND PARENTS AT THIS MEETING BECAUSE WE WILL ROLL OUT ALL OF OUR POPCORN SELLING PLANS, KEY DATES, AND EXPLAIN ALL THE PRIZES THAT CAN BE WON

SATURDAY OCTOBER 3 (9:30-12:30) or (2:30-5:30)
THIS IS THE DAY WE WILL BE DOING OUR PACK NEIGHBORHOOD BLITZ. WE ARE MAPPING OUT THE SURROUNDING NEIGHBORHOODS AND EACH BOY WILL BE SELLING POPCORN ON SPECIFICALLY ASSIGNED STREETS. WE WILL ALSO NEED ONE PARENT PER BOY SO PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS IN ADVANCE. LAST YEAR THE SCOUTS HAD A LOT OF FUN AND SUCCESS WITH THIS BLITZ, WHICH BUILT A LOT OF EXCITEMENT AND CONFIDENCE IN THEM ALSO.
WE WILL MEET AS A PACK AT 9:30a IN FRONT OF MADISON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, DON'T HESITATE TO ASK. OTHERWISE WE WILL SEE EVERYBODY AT THIS FUN PACK EVENT ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 3RD.

WELCOME BACK FOR 2009-2010 SCHOOL YEAR

I hope everybody had a wonderful and safe summer. It's an exciting year to be a member of Scouting, as this is the 100-YEAR Anniversary of Scouts.

A couple quick points......
The "preliminary" calendar is listed on your left. In it you will find all key dates of den, pack, and parent/leader meetings, along with "other activities". Here are a couple key points we would like to clarify for this year:

DEN MEETINGS - 7:00-8:00 at Christ Lutheran Church (641 89th Ave NE Blaine)
These meetings should be attended by all scouts in FULL uniform. Parents (with the exception of Tiger Cub parents) need not be present at these meetings.

PACK MEETINGS - 7:00-8:00 at Christ Lutheran Church (641 89th Ave NE Blaine)
These meetings should be attended by all scouts in FULL uniform. Parents ARE expected to attend these to help support the boys and to receive important handouts and updates on Pack upcoming events.

PARENT/LEADER MEETINGS - 7:00-8:00 at Be-Bop Sports Bar (1009 109th Ave NE)
All registered leaders must attend this. All other parents are welcomed, and encouraged to attend as many as you can. It is these meetings where we brainstorm any activities that we can do as a Pack. The more parental involvement we can have at these, the more things we can do as a Pack!!

Webelos Experience Camping

The Webelos Experience camping trip is fast approaching (October 10-11). This event is held every other year for all registered Webelos I and II. For all who registered with Dave, we are signed up. Please make sure to bring a check made out to Pack 552 for $30 ($15/scout + $15/ parent) to the September 14 Den meeting. If you have any questions, please see Dave Flaa.
